Role Summary: Responsible for leading the Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) Interventional team, with national responsibility of meeting quarterly & annual Orders and Revenue targets, while developing customer and device partner relationship. Drive organizational awareness into a key growing Ultrasound market, Structural Heart Disease (SHD).
Lead a team of Interventional Specialists focused on driving ultrasound growth in the areas of Structural Heart, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and CV OR.
Create awareness amongst Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Echosonographers, practitioners and end users through the development of key customer relationships, programs, and events.
Develop and execute business strategies to penetrate the SHD market and successfully sell against competition.
Partnering with other internal sales teams and external 3rd parties to support collaborative coselling strategies in the SHD Space. Develop close working relationships with Device companies in the SHD segment that further their knowledge of GE CVUS capability and potentially develop physician training programs at the device companies training facilities.
Provide leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of products in all CVUS segments including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers.
Development of long-term customer relationships through expert reputation, coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs, drives customer satisfaction and maintains strong after-sales relationships.
Expert care, develop and nurture relationships of key opinion leaders and thought leaders in the CV Interventional space.
Help determine what trade shows CVUS should be attending and what support is necessary.
Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
Lead SHD skill development within the local CV Interventional Specialist team
Develop SHD training content for National Sales and Clinical training sessions.
Collaboration with Global and Commercial Marketing Teams to provide necessary customer feedback and segment needs and to provide critical segment input for inclusion to product road-map and marketing blueprint.
Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.
Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive CV Interventional sales.
Support SHD Physician training programs to insure clinical content and use of systems are appropriate.
Annual achievement of multiple sales and revenue targets. Accountable for the Sales Operating plan for Orders and Revenue Nationally.
Candidate location is flexible assuming candidates are open to extensive travel.
Candidate should live near a major airport that allows effective coverage of assigned customers.
Minimum of 10 years of commercial Sales and/or Clinical Experience in Cardiovascular Ultrasound.
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process.
Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Willingness to travel up to 75% both within and outside your specified geographic region with overnight stays and occasional weekends depending on geography and business need.
The successful applicant must comply with GEHCs standard background check, including a postoffer drug test. In addition, during employment, the employee must comply with all customer access policies, including but not limited to obtaining and/or providing proof of required immunizations, and additional drug tests or background checks (including a federal government background check if assigned to support a contract with the federal government).

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Previous commercial CV Ultrasound OR sales or clinical experience.
Ability to lead a team to growth in CVUS, while driving a positive and compliant culture.
Ability to work effectively in a high stress, high pace Interventional environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, other sales segments and GE Healthcare functions.
Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired).
Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations).
Solid problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, handle objections and negotiate during the sales process).
